Refund Policy

Effective 2026-08-16

The short version: subscriptions are final sale, you can cancel any time to stop the next charge, and we do refund when something is genuinely our fault. The long version explains exactly where the lines are.

1.The rule

Subscription payments and purchased credits are final sale. We do not offer refunds for a change of mind, for forgetting to cancel, or for not using what you paid for.

The reason is specific rather than stingy: the moment you run an analysis, we pay real money to transcription and AI providers for that run. That cost does not come back to us if you ask for a refund afterwards, so a general refund window would mean paying for other people's usage.

2.What we do refund

We refund, without argument, in these cases:

  • You were charged twice for the same period, or charged after you cancelled.
  • A feature you paid for was broken for a meaningful part of your billing period and we could not fix it.
  • Someone used your payment method without your permission.
  • A law that applies to you requires a refund and cannot be waived by agreement.
  • We terminate your account without you having breached our terms — then we refund the unused part of the current period.

Outside those cases we may still make an exception. Ask. We would rather look at a real situation than hide behind a policy page.

3.Cancelling is not the same as a refund

You can cancel a subscription at any time in your billing settings. Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not refund the period you are currently in, and you keep full access until that period ends.

We do not pro-rate partial months when you cancel. If you cancel on day 3 of a month you have paid for, you still have the remaining days. (If we close your account without you having breached the terms, we do refund the unused part — see section 14 of the Terms.)

4.The 14-day withdrawal right, and why you are asked to waive it

Consumers in the EU and EEA normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract for digital services. Because access and AI processing start immediately, we ask you to waive that right at checkout by actively confirming it. We record that confirmation with a timestamp.

If you complete a purchase without that confirmation being recorded, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right applies to you normally, and we will honour it.

This is explained in full in section 6 of our Terms of Service.

5.Purchased credits

If and when the Service sells top-up credits on top of a plan allowance, these rules will apply:

  • Credits are final sale and cannot be converted back into money.
  • Credits are a separate balance from your monthly plan allowance. Usage draws from your plan allowance first.
  • Downgrading or cancelling your plan never removes credits you have already bought.
  • Credits are tied to your account and cannot be transferred or sold.

6.Free plan and trials

The free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. One-time free allowances are exactly that: once per account, and creating extra accounts to repeat them is a breach of our terms.

7.Talk to us before your bank

If a charge looks wrong, email companysidler@gmail.com. Billing mistakes get fixed, usually the same week.

Opening a chargeback with your bank instead of contacting us costs us a non-refundable dispute fee regardless of who is right, and it entitles us to suspend or permanently close your account and block the payment method. If the dispute turns out to be a genuine error or card fraud, we restore your account. Section 13 of the Terms of Service has the detail.

8.How to ask for a refund

Email companysidler@gmail.com from the address on your account, with the date and amount of the charge and what went wrong. We reply within 5 working days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
